Travel League
Elevate Your Game
The Lenape Blazers Travel League is where passion meets performance! Designed for young athletes ready to push their limits and excel, our league offers four dynamic divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, with 16U/18U when the opportunity arises. With a clear age cutoff of September 1st, players are matched with teammates and competitors of similar age and skill, ensuring a fair and challenging environment. Here, every athlete gets the chance to sharpen their skills, embrace competitive play, and forge lasting bonds through the spirit of teamwork. Join us and take your game to the next level!
Travel Philosophy
Our program is all about helping young athletes grow, learn, and love the game of softball. We focus on teamwork, building confidence, learning from mistakes, and having fun while working hard to improve skills to their maximum potential.
Travel softball goals are different from recreational softball. While always focusing on player development, travel softball players will compete at a higher level, with the attempt to win games. There is a higher level of commitment to showing up for your team at practices and games. It is not a guarantee that all players will receive equal amounts of playing time in each game. Field positions and playing time are determined by the head coach and coaching staff. Blazers travel coaches are committed to the development and success of each player, with a reciprocal commitment from the players to show up with a hunger to learn, grow and do their best.
At the heart of it all, we’re here to inspire a love for the game, teach important life lessons, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s work hard, play together, and enjoy the journey!
For Travel Teams:
Indoor training sessions will be held Saturday evenings at Prospects Baseball and Softball Academy on the following dates:
📅 February 22, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22, and March 29
Player evaluations will take place during the second week of training.
🔢 Travel teams will have 12 players. If a player doesn’t make the travel team, they can opt to join a rec team—if one is available. If there are enough players for two travel teams at a level, there will be an A team and a B team. Team placement is based on player evaluations and coach discretion.
If there are not enough players to form a team at a particular level, we will communicate as soon as we can and registration fees will be refunded.
🛡 Spring Season Details:
8u Level: Competes in the Mt. Olive League
10u and Above: Competes in the Sparta League
All travel levels are able to compete in tournaments at the discretion of the team coaches. Costs of tournaments are paid by the teams and separate from league registration fees.
